I started this adventure called life in Northern Virginia. Thanks to a large computer company whose initials spell I’ve Been Moved, my family relocated to New Jersey, back to Virginia, to Florida, and finally to metro-Atlanta where my dad shuffled offices and the family stayed put.
After college at the University of Georgia (go Dawgs!) where I met the hero of my love story, we settled into the American dream with two kids and a menagerie of adorable dogs. We’ve added a couple of horses to round out the mix.
With no more teens in the house and the kids nearly grown, I spend my days cooking up all kinds of trouble for my flawed characters when I’m not walking my dogs at a local park, binge watching TV with my husband, or wondering when my kids will call their mom.

My BFF and I are always there for each other. We are travel buddies, movie buddies, and restaurant buddies. We do have our occasional arguments but we clear the air after we cool off. We can tell each other anything.

My BFF and I have a lot in common. However, I admire her greatly, because I think she has what I have but more so! She’s highly intelligent but is more ambitious than me, she has a J.D. degree, but has gone on to get a masters in teaching and librarian credentials. We both love theater, and dance, music, and books. We are able to be completely genuine and honest with each other, and we support each other emotionally. I honestly don’t know what I would do without her.
